Cafe Life Florence with Joe Wolff

Last week Joe Wolff spoke at the San Francisco Instituto Italiano about his new book, Cafe Life Florence (compare prices). Joe showed slides of some of the cafes in his book and entertained us with interesting stories about some of the people he met. The book has photographs and details about 20 interesting bars, cafes, ice cream shops, and bakeries in Florence, Italy. Joe includes only small, family-run establishments that are friendly and comfortable for visitors. He and his partner, photographer Joe Paperno, personally visited all of them, chatted with the owners, and took pictures.
