Chocolate Festival in Turin, Italy

Saturday March 18, 2006
Besides being home to the 2006 Winter Olympics and Paraolympics, Turin is the home to some of Italy's best chocolate. Turin celebrates its chocolate heritage with a Chocolate Festival, March 24-April 2, in Piazza San Carlo. If you can't make it to the festival but want to taste some chocolate on your travels to Turin, we have advice from Giorgio Pogliano for the two best chocolate makers in Turin on our Turin Restaurant Recommendations pages.

Even though it's almost spring, you can still enjoy some winter sports in the mountains outside Turin. So if you want to try out some of the Olympic venues, check out our Winter Sports in the Piedmont Region. Our Piedmont Region Map will help you plan your travels around Turin.
