- Milan: The Triennnale Museum has a Comic Book Art exhibit through September 3 and the Ambrosiana has one of Titian's most famous paintings on loan from the Louvre in Paris, Supper at Emmaus.
- Rome: Hadrian's Villa has Egyptian Suggestions, an exhibit showing how Hadrian used Egyptian-style representations to decorate his villa, inlcuding a look at a huge staircase with an Egyptian crocodile motif, now believed to be the main entrance to the site, through October 15.
- Sienna: Santa Maria della Scala has more Egyptian items in Igiene e bellezza nell' antico Egitto, Hygiene and Beauty in Ancient Egypt, through September 17.
- Venice: La Fenice Theatre has The Colour of Miles Davis - paintings, drawings, videos, paintings produced by Miles in the 1980's, through July 20.
