Florence Named World's Top Travel City

Italy has the two top travel cities in the world according to the annual Travel and Leisure Magazine World's Best Awards. Florence won first place for the world's best city for travelers with Rome taking second. Results are based on a poll of 23,000 Travel and Leisure Magazine readers who rated travel cities for sights, culture and arts, restaurants and food, people, shopping, and value.
