Monte San Savino Pictures

Thursday August 17, 2006
italy travel pictureMonte San Savino is a picturesque Tuscan hilltown just off the A1 autostrada. Monte San Savino's 14th century Palazzo Pretorio clock tower has been restored and you can climb to the top for some great views of Monte San Savino's red-tiled rooftops framed by the agricultural fields and hills of the Valdichiana in the background.

Tuscany has some of the most interesting and varied landscapes in Italy and the Valdichiana is a good example of Tuscany's beauty. Take a look at our Monte San Savino pictures including pictures of the Tuscan landscape of the Valdichiana from the top of Monte San Savino's clock tower.

Mostly of Italy’s structures or buildings are but gothic inspired. And the Savino’s clock tower is one them. It’s not surprising though, since most of well-known aritsts came from this place. They are so rich in arts and beauty.
