Go on an Italian Food Tour with an Ice Cream Expert

Sunday August 27, 2006
Perhaps you know Malcolm Stogo. You've had one of his creations if you've ever slurped through a mountain of ice cream stacked in a waffle cone. Malcom runs Ice Cream University (and you thought your major was cool!) and has run Gelato tours to Italy for the past six years. The next Gelato tour is in January to coincide with the International Exhibition for the Artisan Production of Ice Cream, Pastry, Confectionery and Bakery. Yeah, you don't stop eating getato in Italy just because it's January.

Now comes word that Malcom is branching out into food tours. On his Specialty Food Tour you'll go to all the best foodie meccas in northern Italy: Bologna, Parma, Modena, Ravena, Florence, San Gimignano, Pienza, and Montefalco. You eat, drink the best wines, and have gelato after, of course, between cooking classes and visits to cheese, prosciutto, and balsamic vinegar producers. And this tour happens in October, the best time to be in Italy.

I’m sorry but I am not really so familiar with him. But if he makes so delicious ice cream then maybe I should get to know him better. If he is branching out. I whish he could branch out here too and let us taste his delicious ice cream.
