Self-guided Audio Tours for Your Italy Travels

Wednesday September 6, 2006
If you like to travel independently but enjoy some guidance, iJourneys audio walking tours may be just the thing for you. With iJourneys you download the tour you want, then enjoy the tour at your own pace. You won't have to carry around a guidebook or join a tour to take advantage of some expert guidance. You can even listen to the tour ahead of time to prepare for your destination or take it to the gym and use it on the treadmill to pretend that you're in Italy.

Audio tours are available for Rome, Florence, Venice, and Pompeii. I used the iJourneys tours for Ancient Rome and Old Rome and found them easy to follow and very informative. The Ancient Rome tour take you to some of Rome's Top Ancient Sites while the Old Rome tour takes you from the Pantheon to Piazza Navona. Read my Review of iJourneys Rome Audio Tours.

If you prefer a private guided tour with a driver, consider Miles&Miles Rome Tours.
