Rome's La Notte Bianca
Thursday September 7, 2006
Rome will hold its unique La Notte Bianca for 12 hours starting Saturday, September 9 at 8:00 PM. This international event brings over 1000 artists giving performances all night long. Rome will come alive with art, cinema, theatre, music, special events, sport and shopping. Events will be held in every corner of Rome including streets, squares, art locations, museums, theatres, villas, cinemas and shops. Some areas of Rome will become pedestrian only for the night. To support the events, public transportation will run throughout the night with more runs than usual. From 10 PM until 6 AM you can ride public transport using a single 1 € ticket. Security and urban police services will also be increased.
