Love Italian Style in Turin

Starhotels Majestic in Turin is offering a special "Love Italian Style" package available February 11th through 18th. The package includes such romantic items as breakfast in bed, a candlelit dinner, a shopping tour, late check-out, and chocolate in Caffé Barratti, one of Turin's oldest cafes (see picture at right).

According to Starhotels, "Located on the Corso Vittorio Emanuele in the heart of the city, the Starhotels Majestic dates back to 1861. It has been carefully restored with period furnishings, precious fabrics and period decorations recreating the warm, inviting atmosphere of the late nineteenth century."

The baroque city of Turin, Torino in Italian, became well-known worldwide when it hosted the 2006 winter Olympics. Turin has museums, theaters, beautiful buildings, great food, wine bars, and historic cafes. Porticoes in the city center make Turin a pleasant place for a stroll even in bad weather and add a feeling of romance.
