See Rome on the Run

Friday July 13, 2007
The Rome Cavalieri Hilton Hotel recently introduced two new programs for its guests. Guests can see Rome on the run and their kids can learn to cook up some special Italian treats. The following program information was provided by Ashley Castro of Quinn and Co.
Jogging with the GM: The Cavalieri’s general manager, Milan Arandelovic, is a champion marathon runner. Each morning, guests are invited to join him for a quick work-out and tour of beautiful Rome. The jogging journey will begin at Ponte Milvio and continue along the Lungotevere while Arandelovis points out the local sights. At jog’s conclusion, guests can then rest their tired feet and enjoy the view while a private shuttle takes them back to the hotel. This is just one of several new fitness initiatives by the hotel, including the recently launched Gladiator Training program.

Kids’ Cucina: The Cavalieri kitchen now offers children’s cooking classes with their first-class chefs. The 90-minute classes on Saturday and Sunday afternoons will teach the tiny chefs-in-training to make scrumptious Italian delights such as pizza, ice cream, pastries and fruit shakes. Mangia! Students even get to take home a little cake of their own on pastry day to share.
