Da Vinci's Last Supper Online

The Last Supper, famous masterpiece of Leonardo da Vinci, can now be viewed online at 16 billion pixels. You can really get a close look at the painting, zooming in on key details you'd like to see. The online picture by Italian imaging firm HAL9000 was taken using 1677 shots with special lighting created so as not to harm the original. Take a look at the Last Supper. Note: it may take some time to load.

If the web site makes you want to see the real Last Supper at Santa Maria della Grazie in Milan, be sure to get your tickets ahead of time.
