Opera School in Urbania, Italy
Last summer I visited the Italian Operatic Experience and Scuola Italia in Urbania. I was very impressed with the both the professional quality and the individualized program provided by the opera experience and Scuola Italia.
Urbania is an ideal town for language students. It's small enough that students are able to integrate into the community and practice Italian outside school. There are good restaurants and bars, ice cream and pastry shops, and piazza life (what's a piazza?). Students interested in participating should apply now.

Urbania, near the Renaissance town of Urbino, is well worth a visit. I stayed at the lovely Country House Parco Ducale Bed and Breakfast in a peaceful setting just outside town. Le Marche is a beautiful, often overlooked, region of central Italy with seaside resorts, medieval hill towns and castles, and scenic mountains.
