Tuscany Daffodil Festival

Yesterday we went to the daffodil festival at Villa La Pescigola, just outside Fivizzano in northern Tuscany's Lunigiana region. It was a lovely spring day and the flowers and scenery were stunning. Villa La Pescigola hosts the largest daffodil flowering in an Italian garden with more than 120,000 daffodils of 66 different varieties.

In May, the garden will be open on weekends for the seasonal flowering of azaleas, rhododendron, peonies and roses until the end of June.
