Eating Pizza in Naples
Italian pizza baked in a wood oven usually has a thinner crust than pizza in the United States. Pizza is usually eaten in the evening and many pizzerie don't make pizza at lunch time, especially in summer. Each person orders an individual pizza, usually with only one or two toppings. Oh, and pepperoni means peppers, not the salami-like topping found in the US.
