Amalfi Pictures

amalfi italy travel pictureAmalfi is one of the charming resort villages along southern Italy's spectacular Amalfi Coast. Amalfi was one of the four world class sea powers between the 7th and 11th centuries so it has a good historic center and interesting architecture. Amalfi's Duomo di Sant' Andrea and Chiostro del Paradiso, the Cloister of Paradise, are architectural treasures.

Although Amalfi lacks the dramatic look of nearby Positano, it has lots of internal beauty and is a peaceful resort town, making it a good place to stay on the coast. Take a look at the village of Amalfi with our Amalfi Pictures.
