Wine Making Festival in Vetralla, Italy
Gastronomic stands with typical foods of wine making season and the local culture will be available throughout the weekend in the Cantinone, a grotto excavated centuries ago under the city’s historic center. Stands will sell locally made biological products: wines, jams, tomato sauces, Chianina meat, extra virgin olive oil, truffles, beans, honey, cheese, sausages and hazelnuts.
Sunday morning join in a literary walk with recitations connected to wine making culture. A theatrical show, Mondovino, will enliven the special dinner to be held in the Cantinone with bruschette, ricotta with honey, vegetables cooked in wine, pumpkin pasta, farro and contadina soup, roast meats and sausage with grapes, salad, biscotti, water, wine (cost 15 euro) plus 5 euro for theatrical show.
