Truffle Season Discount at Country House Parco Ducale

Central Italy's Marche region is a great place for fall truffles. Two of the best white truffle fairs are in San Angelo in Vado and Acqualagna, a town that calls itself the truffle capital.

Country House Parco Ducale, just 10 km from each town, is offering a special price of 39 euro per person, bed and breakfast, during October and November. Parco Ducale is just outside the lively medieval town of Urbania, where you'll find several good restaurants. It makes a good base for visiting the charming towns of Marche (see Marche Map) and going to the truffle fairs.

Plan ahead for Epiphany and La Befana, 2-6 January, when Urbania holds a big La Befana festival. La Befana will even arrive at Country House Parco Ducale on the evening of 5 January with gifts for the kids.
