florence travel pictureLast week Kyle Phillips (of Italian Food), James Martin (of Europe Travel) and I met for a walk through Florence. Kyle lived in Florence for many years and gave us an inside look at the city, highlighting places that are important in Florence's history and culture.

Our walk took us to San Marco Museum, Florence central market, Piazza della Repubblica, and what is probably the oldest building in Florence. Of course, there were great food stops including a typical lampredotto stand, an inexpensive trattoria that's one of Kyle's favorites, and gelato.

Join us on a virtual walk through Florence or enjoy the walk yourself next time you're in Italy with our Self-guided Walk in Florence.
