Virtual Visit to Ancient Rome
Tuesday November 11, 2008
The Roman Colosseum is Rome's most popular and most visited Ancient Roman Site. While it's common to see men strolling near the Colosseum in gladiator costume to entertain tourists, a new 3-D virtual reality show will feature gladiator fights in a virtual Colosseum. Starting November 20, 3D Rewind Rome will bring ancient Rome to life in a theater near the Colosseum. In addition to the Colosseum, the virtual trip back in time takes visitors to the ancient forum, temples, and the streets of ancient Rome.
