My Return From Italy
On the way to Nice, we stayed at San Remo Best Western Hotel Nazionale (book direct), a centrally located hotel with nice rooms and great views of San Remo and the sea from the roof terrace. San Remo has an amazing historic center, la Pigna, that clings to the hill going from the harbor to a beautiful church via winding walking streets and covered alleyways.
For most of my travels (except on a Ryan air flight where it was a little too big for carry-on) I carried a Briggs and Riley 20" Carry-On Superlight - read my review. This is a high quality suitcase, very sturdy and well-balanced, and easy to carry on the train. I was able to pack 4-5 days worth of clothes including a pair of shoes and toiletries.
In the coming weeks, I'll have new picture galleries, reviews, and articles about places I visited. Sign up for my weekly e-mail newsletter or RSS feed to follow what's new on Italy Travel.
