Venice Carnevale 2009
Venice is the top city for Carnevale, Italy's Mardi Gras. This year's Carnival in Venice events start February 13 culminating on February 24. Excitement fills the air and people wear elaborate costumes and the famous Venice carnival masks. You'll need to plan ahead to visit Venice during Carnevale as hotels fill up quickly and many events require advance reservations. Here's a look at some Venice Carnival events that can be reserved ahead on Cultural Italy.
