Pictures of Nora Archeology Zone in Sardinia
Nora, in southern Sardinia, occupies a beautiful position on the sea on Capa Pula. The town was founded by the Phoenicians in the 8th century BC and was inhabited for about 1600 years. Although much of the original site is now underwater, the visible remains are very interesting.
Nora Archeology Zone has Phoenician, Punic, and Roman ruins. There are remains of four thermal baths, houses, shops, mosaic floors, and a small Roman theater that's used for summer performances overlooking the sea. Take a virtual tour of Nora Archeology site with our Nora Pictures.
