The Vatican now has its own YouTube channel. Several short videos of the Pope are available on the site and the Vatican plans to update the page daily with news coverage of the Pope and Vatican events. Videos are shown in Italian, English, Spanish, and German. Now you can see the Pope live without traveling to Vatican City.
If you do want to attend an audience with the Pope (held on Wednesday mornings), now is a good time to do it. Requests for Papal audiences, as well as tourism in Rome and Vatican City, are down. Our Vatican City Travel Guide has information about requesting an audience with the Pope as well as visiting Saint Peter's Basilica, the Sistine Chapel, and the Vatican Museums.
