cala gonone sardinia pictureCala Gonone is a small resort town on the eastern coast of Sardinia and gateway to 40 km of beautiful beaches and remote coves, many accessible only by boat. The sea is perfect for swimming, snorkeling, windsurfing, kayaking, or boating. The cliffs above the sea are dotted with caves and hiking paths. Also in the area is one of Europe's deepest gorges, Gola Su Gorropu.

Sardinia was a great dissapointment to me. the best beach in sardinia is the worst in greece. i realised that all good comments where made by people who have never visited the greek beach and this is the only reason i can justify why someone would travel there. moreover, the landscape, the villages where dramatically depressing, with no caracter or special colour. the very polite sardinians and the few spots that was worth seeing, were dissapeared behind something very promising that i was told but never saw.

Only a limited person can tell something so rude about Sardinia. I’ve been there last summer and there are amazing places around, beaches in general are lovely and paradisiac. Speaking about Cala Gonone it was the most special place for me. Maria you should be ashamed about yourself. I believe Greece is wonderful but I’m sure if every greek are just like you, you are poor mind. Sardinian people are warm, kind, welcoming, simple, generous and proud about their homeland and they are right, their land is wonderful. They respect tourists and give them the best so if you go there you surely feel welcoming. Maria maybe you feel bad vibrations because of your own behavior. Stay in your beautiful Greece with your little brain.
