New Moon Movie in Tuscany

If you've read the Twilight Saga book series you know that the ending of the book New Moon (compare prices) is set in Volterra, Italy. My colleague Patricia on Brazil Travel alerted me that the Italy scenes for the upcoming New Moon movie (scheduled for release November 20) were actually shot in Montepulciano.

Both towns are medieval walled towns in Tuscany with impressive central squares - compare them with these photos: Volterra | Montepulciano.
