The Venice International Film Festival, la Biennale di Venezia, started yesterday and was declared the greatest film festival in the world by Director Ang Lee, winner of the 2007 Golden Lion award for his movie Lust, Caution. This year's festival, the 66th, runs through September 12 on the Venice Lido and tickets are still available. Celebrities flock to the Venice Film Festival, one of the world's oldest and largest film fests, so if you're traveling in Venice you might spot someone famous.
