Christmas Holidays in Rome

Friday October 23, 2009

Rome is one of the best places to celebrate Christmas in Italy and Italy's winter holiday season. Artisans of Leisure chose Rome as one of the Top 5 Quick Getaways over the Christmas and New Year holidays, places they recommend for a week-long vacation during the winter holidays. I'm planning to visit Rome myself in December to take photos of Christmas markets, decorations and the huge Christmas tree that's erected each year in Saint Peter's Square.

Rome is beautiful during Christmas time! The only thing I need to say, is that a lot of restaurants are closed. To see which restaurants are open during Christmas and New Year’s Eve, it is useful to take a look at http://www.diningcity.com/rome.
