Snow in Rome

Follow me on:

Visitors to Rome got a very rare look at snow-covered Roman monuments today. Check out these photos and the great video of snow falling in the Roman Forum on Darius Arya Digs. Then head over to Vatican City for a look at snow in Saint Peter's Square on Living in Rome and a great photo of a nun walking in the snow on Guardian.co.uk.

According to Dianne Hales' post about Snow in Rome, National museums and parks in Italy are offering two admissions for the price of one on Valentine's Day weekend.

Dear Martha,

Thank you so much for this post–I really enjoyed viewing the images. Snow is certainly one thing I missed on my last visit to the Eternal City! Thanks again for your wonderful blog!
