To celebrate the 400th anniversary of the Vatican Archives, 100 documents from the Secret Archives are on display to the public for the first time, starting in March. The exhibit, Lux in Arcana: The Vatican Secret Archives Revealed, runs from March 1 through September 9 in Rome's Capitoline Museums. The Capitoline's current exhibit, running through February 12, displays 66 drawings by Michelangelo and da Vinci.
If you have an iPad, you can view drawings and writings by Michelangelo in a special app put together by the Vatican Library, the National Geographic Channel and Italian marketing firm Froggy, according to this ANSA report.
