Visitors who want a break from wine can visit the interesting Chianti Sculpture Park, south of Siena and just outside the Chianti Classico wine-growing area shown on our Chianti Map. In the 17 acre park visitors see sculptures by 30 artists along a one kilometer walking path through oak woods. One of the highlights is the whimsical Amphitheater Sculpture, with sculptures of popular figures in the audience like Federico Fellini and Charlie Chaplin, that's used for outdoor performances in summer.
Current admission to the Sculpture Park, which is open daily from 10AM to sunset, is 7.50 euro or 15 euro during concert events.
