Thousands of visitors every year come to Corinaldo, in central Italy's le Marche region, for a week full of Halloween fear, excitement and entertainment and so Cornialdo has become the Italian Capital of Halloween, according to Nadia Sparapani of Loving Marche. One of the top events is the Party of the Witches and on October 30, Miss Witch is chosen in a competition. Other attractions include the Tunnel of Fear and the House of Spirits while around town 18 taverns serve up specialties with a Halloween theme. The events culminate on Halloween night with a show of music, fire, and lights all around the town. In 2012 events start on October 26. See more about Halloween in Corinaldo.
