Ischia can easily be visited as a day trip from Naples but the island is also a good place to spend a relaxing vacation taking in the waters at the thermal parks. It sees far fewer tourists than neighboring Capri, especially outside of summer, and with moderate temperatures spring and fall are good times to visit. In addition to the thermal springs, Ischia has a castle, seaside towns, beaches, and a garden.
