Take a virtual tour of Elba Island with these pictures. Elba, famous as the island where Napoleon was exiled, is the largest island in the Tuscan Archipelago National Park and Italy's third largest island. Portoferraio, Elba's port city, has ferries that connect the island to the mainland town of Piombino (see Tuscany Map for location). Elba Island offers more than 70 good beaches along the coast, swimming and water sports, hiking and trekking, picturesque villages, and lots of activities and events during summer.
