Inside the Hotel Eden
Hotel Eden is a historic hotel, built in 1889. After two years of renovation, Margaret Thatcher inaugurated the hotel's reopening in 1994. The hotel is beautifully decorated with elegant features both in the common rooms and guest rooms. Nicely furnished rooms have been renovated with meticulous detail. Our front-facing room had two small balconies, a large marble bathroom, and a good-sized room with both a desk and small table with chairs. Everything was in perfect condition. The maid brought a plate of fruit during the day and at night put slippers on a mat by the bed. Service was impeccable.
Hotel Eden has thirteen suites, three of them extremely elegant, and eight studios for those who want more than just a room. Guest rooms, available in several styles, include 76 double superior or deluxe rooms and 24 singles, all well appointed. Front facing rooms have small balconies and fantastic views. There are also business rooms designed for the business traveler, rooms that overlook the peaceful courtyard, and rooms with frescoes on the walls.
Hotel guests can use the gym and spa services are available. Hospitality staff and the hotel's concierge are always available to guests to assist with reservations, special requests or needs. Internet is available throughout the hotel for a fee.
