Guide Review - Hotel Residenza in Farnese - Rome Hotel Review
On the other side of the peaceful Piazza Farnese is the lively Campo dei Fiori. A little farther are Piazza Navona, the Pantheon, or the Jewish Quarter. Across the river, the Trastevere neighborhood and Vatican City are reachable. There are many good restaurants, shops, and bars and cafes in the area.
Housed in what was once a Monastery dating from the 900s, the Hotel Residenza in Farnese still reflects the quiet calm of this elegant corner of Rome. The hotel still retains the original layout and is carefully restored with good artwork and furnishings. During our stay the staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel is tucked away on a side street, making it quiet, and barely looks like a hotel from outside (Hotel picture).
The best way to reach Hotel Residenza in Farnese is probably by taxi, especially if you have luggage, as it's not on a public transport line. The hotel is located at Via del Mascherone, 59, between the Palazzo Farnese and Via Giulia.
