The Bottom Line
The Hotel Adler Cavalieri is a comfortable, attractively decorated, and well-priced (especially during the off-season) 4-star hotel. In Florence I have stayed in other hotels for almost the same cost that were not nearly as nice. I was really happy to find the Adler Cavalieri and would definitely stay there again when visiting Florence.

Guide Review - Review of Hotel Adler Cavalieri in Florence, Italy
Arriving in Florence via the bus from the airport, I was very pleased to walk around the corner to arrive at the Hotel Adler Cavlaieri. It could not have been easier! Located on the old road to Florence's city center, the Via Della Scala, it is also easy to walk to the historic center and major tourist sites.

The hotel, located in a nineteenth century palace, has been recently renovated. It retains the allure of nineteenth century Florence but incorporates modern comforts. The rooms are small but comfortable and have very good marble bathrooms, pleasant decor, and painted ceilings. Rooms are also very quiet!

The reading room, stocked with newspapers, is inviting with large chairs, a beautiful mural, and fireplace. There is a salon with wireless internet; you can get a laptop on request. Upstairs the bar is open in the evenings and has outdoor seating in summer. There is a small fitness center and Turkish bath, with separate times for women and men.

The staff was more than willing to help us with requests, including a recommendation for an excellent restaurant. When there was a general strike the day we were supposed to leave, they assisted us by calling our airlines to help us make alternate plans.

Although prices may be high during the summer, it is a great bargain in the off-season. Check prices and book direct on Venere.
