Milan Historic Center Hotels - Best Rated Hotels in Milan, Italy
Where to stay near La Scala, the duomo, and fashion shopping district.

By Martha Bakerjian, About.com

Here are the best Milan recommended hotels convenient for shopping and visiting the Duomo and La Scala Opera House. Because of the proximity to the fashion district and La Scala, many of them are fairly upscale but there are a few lower priced choices. All hotels except the 1-star (at the end of the list) are air-conditioned.

These are the top recommended hotels in Milan's historic center based on guest ratings on Venere for Milan, Italy. By clicking the hotel link, you can see guest ratings and reviews, hotel photos, and descriptions. You can book the hotels directly on Venere, a booking site I often use myself.
