Monte San Savino - Pictures from the Clock Tower
See a Tuscan hill town from above.

From Martha Bakerjian, About.com

Monte San Savino is a hill town in the Arezzo province of Tuscany, about 20km from Arezzo and near Cortona. It's famed for its porchetta, the wood fire roasted pig you might findbeing sliced from a truck at open air markets (if so, ask for a panino di porchetta, you can't go wrong--pig fat rules).

Monte San Savino's Palazzo Pretorio clock tower has been restored and it's an interesting climb to the top, where you can get good views, as in the picture gallery here, of the medieval architecture of Monte San Savino framed by the agricultural fields and hills of the Valdichiana in the background.

Enjoy our Monte San Savino pictures. Click each to see it larger, or click "start here" to see the pictures in series, just as you would if you would have climbed the tower yourself.
