The Trevi is a must see for visitors to Rome

The Trevi fountain, completed in 1762 represents the end of the Aqua Virgo, an aqueduct constructed in 19 BC.

The central figure is of Neptune, god of the sea, riding a chariot in the shape of a shell, pulled by two sea horses, each guided by a Triton.
