Modena Pictures: Photo Gallery of Modena in the Emilia Romagna Region of Italy
Modena is seldom visited- -and that's a shame.

From Martha Bakerjian, About.com

Modena, Italy, is known for balsamic vinegar, its 12th century duomo and belltower, and its engines. Yes, around Modena the famous car makers De Tomaso, Ferrari, and Maserati build their expensive automobiles.

You know the folks of Modena have a reverence for fine food. Where else does vinegar get aged a lifetime or more?

Modena's historic center (centro storico) is a delight to walk or bike around. At the very core is the Piazza Grande, the focal point of Modena which includes the UNESCO World Heritage Duomo di Modena, Modena's 12th Century cathedral with its Gothic belltower, the Torre della Ghirlandina

You'll see all these things and more in our Modena Photo Gallery. Click each picture to see it full size.
