Guide Review - Hotel Residence Le Torri Review - Italy Hotel Review
Albergo Le Torri is a small, family run 3-star hotel in the Langhe wine town of Castiglione Falletto, Piedmont. A highlight of a stay in Le Torri hotel is the fantastic views of the picturesque Langhe hills, vineyards, and medieval villages. On a very clear day, one can even see the Alps.

Accommodations are in a renovated Patrician house. Most rooms and apartments have a balcony or terrace. The pretty enclosed courtyard is a nice place to sit, too. Room furnishings are basic but comfortable and the bathrooms are nice. A small breakfast of a croissant and coffee is included but there's also a very nice but somewhat expensive breakfast buffet with a good selection of local cheeses and cold cuts.

Hotel Le Torri sits at the foot of the medieval castle in the small wine town of Castiglione Falletto. Next door is the highly recommended Le Torri Restaurant. The inexpensive Locanda del Centro (photo) also serves good food. There's a good selection of local wines available for tasting and to purchase in the town's Cantine Sociale. Bar Belvedere has a nice terrace with spectacular views overlooking the opposite side of town from the hotel. It's a good place for a glass of wine, a coffee, or light lunch.

Renata, who speaks English, is an experienced tour guide and extremely knowledgeable of the area. She takes time to offer suggestions and help guests plan their days. Within an hours drive are wineries, castles, medieval villages, the city of Turin, and the towns of Alba, Asti, and Bra. Bicycles are available at the hotel and there are walking trails nearby, too. One could easily spend a pleasant week or two here.
