Picture of the Duomo in Pisa

Pisa's Duomo dates from 1063 and the Romanesque facade was constructed in the twelfth century. The doors have bronze panels with bas-reliefs from the sixteenth century. The interior has a sixteenth century wood ceiling and holds several important art works. The pulpit, carved in the early fourteenth century, has scenes from the New Testament.
