Turin's Baroque cafes

Turin is famous for its elegant Baroque cafes. Although expensive for table service, it's free to take a look or you can save money by standing at the bar for your drink. Chocolate for eating originated in Turin so it's a good place to try chocolate or other delectable pastries. You can also try a Bicherin, a coffee drink that got its start at Al Bicherin cafe. Borgo Medioevale in the Parco del Valentino

The Borgo Mediovale, or medieval borgo, is a recreation of a medieval village created in 1884 for the International Exposition in the city of Turin. The village and castle, in a picturesque setting by the river, are now a living museum. You can wander through the village for free but there's an admission charge to go inside the castle. Views of Turin from the Mole Antonelliana
