The Main Street of Venice

The Grand Canal is Venice's main thoroughfare, running down the middle of the city. It's more than two miles long and lined with lavish palaces. You can take a public boat line along the canal all the way from the train station, under the Rialto Bridge, and ending at St. Mark's Square.
