The Rialto Bridge, dating from the late 16th century, is the main bridge crossing Venice's Grand Canal. The bridge is lined with shops and often crowded with tourists since it's one of Venice's top sights. It's not hard to find as there are signs pointing to Rialto Bridge in most parts of Venice.
The Rialto Market, in San Polo sestiere, is older than the bridge and has been Venice's top fish and produce market for about 1000 years. It's a good place to wander around and there are several good, inexpensive places to eat near the market.
