Italy has many wineries that can be visited but it's sometimes easier to visit them on a guided tour. Barolo Tour - King of Wines, Wine of Kings
This tour takes you to the Langhe wine region of Piedmont where Barolo wine, sometimes called the King of Wines and Wine of Kings, is produced. You'll visit a 13th century castle where you'll taste wines, then you'll head to the charming village of Barolo where you'll visit wineries and another castle. Yhen you'll stop in the town of La Morra where you can eat lunch (lunch not included in price). Before heading to the truffle town of Alba for a guided tour and shopping there will be a stop at another winery.
Castelli Romani Wineries - The Hills of Rome
This tour takes you to the hills of the Castelli Romani outside Rome, dotted with lakes and castles.
