What do you write about in your blog?
I live in northern Tuscany near Pistoia and I write about food and life with a lots of photographs of food and what surrounds me .
Why Did You Start Your Blog?
I love Italian food and I wanted to share my love for it with other people so I started a food blog but not only because I have always posted lots of my photos of Italy as well. I started on a whim but it soon became an important and integral part of my life. I choose a big blogging platform, Blogger, which is very easy to use and very reliable, especially when you consider that it is free and just went on from that.
Advice
- Choose the right months for your visit: springtime and Autumn are the best periods, less tourists and not so hot.
- Chianti is nice but there are lots of other just as beautiful areas in Tuscany with less tourists and far cheaper so dare to go north for example.
- Try to eat in smaller local restaurant where Italians eat, that usually means that the food is good and not a tourist trap
