Why Did You Start Your Blog?
I had finished culinary school in Italy and was bursting with enthusiasm for sharing my adventures through the regional kitchens. In my ignorance, I just signed up in a blogging program and started writing. I write from a part of Italy that many travelers don't know yet. That's a shame.
Advice
- The part of Umbria in which I live is uncrowded, clean, extraordinarily historic. Life here is less altered by the modern world, and the values which help preserve Italy's beauty are intact. Take your time to really experience this jewel in the boot. We have treasures other and more famous cities would like to have, and this small city has more untouched Medieval character than almost any I've seen.
- Food and wine are very important here. Many people take advanced studies in wine, cheese and cookery.
- Music plays a very big part in our culture and we have several first class music festivals.
