Why Do You Like this Movie?
Set in the 20's, four British women, previously unacquainted and from vastly different social and economic backgrounds, share a villa in Italy for one month. As each character is introduced and the plot unfolds one can only see disaster resulting from this group being under one roof. However the beauty of their surroundings works its magic and, one by one, we watch them soften and relax and shed the worries they brought with them. A charming movie, hilarious at times, with stellar performances by Joan Plowright and Michael Kitchen.
Advice
- "Enchanted April" ranks as one of my all-time favorite movies; I've watched it half a dozen times and plan to watch it a dozen times more.
