My Favorite Place in Tuscany
My favorite place, that's hard to say all of Tuscan region was beautiful. I stayed in a farmhouse in Montelopio Agriturismo Canale.
It was so nice. I do recommend it. The owner is so nice and speaks english, some, enough to understand each other It has a vineyard and olive grove. SO SO BEAUTIFUL!
We left Montelopio every morning and went to Lucca, Pisa, Florence, Cortona, Monticino, Montepolico, Volterra, San Gimignano, Arezzo, Livorno. Took a ferry to Elba, OH OH SO BEAUTIFUL. Ate in a great restaurant in Peccioli Via Nova. So I can't say really what my favorite place was. I can't wait to go back.
Why this is My Top Pick for Tuscany
Everyone was so nice to us. Tuscany region likes tourist. They even like Americans. Firenze, the Duomo. We had a great English speaking guide from Victor. He and She were very entertaining and informative.
Make sure you go to Italian Loves in Florence they have wine tasting and olive oil tasting and wonderful balsamic vinegar. We were only there 7 days but we rented a car and went for it.
Advice
- Agriturismo Canale, great people.
- Pontadora has a COOP grocery store that has English and Italian on the isle signs. Great Wine and Beer.
- Firenze (Florence) had helpful Italians.
- We ate in San Gimignano at a bistro that had homemade pasta, lasagna that was great.
- LUCCA WOW FUN TIME AND A LOT TO DO.
- EVERY WHERE WE WENT WE HAD AN AMAZING TIME!!!!!!!!
